This Buttery Cookie Icing is perfect for so many cookies they are too numerous to list! It’s very simple and quick to make and can be changed in quite a few different ways to give different flavors. I’ll be sharing some of my favorite versions of this cooking icing as time goes on.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 tbsp. soft butter
- 1 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. cream
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Thoroughly blend together butter and sugar.
- Stir in cream and vanilla.
- Mix icing until smooth.
Makes enough icing for approximately 4 dozen cookies
