Eat Cookies, Lose Weight

Eat cookies and lose weight? That’s right, I said eat cookies and lose weight. It’s not eat cookies and STILL lose weight, these are cookies that you eat TO lose weight! Sounds too good to be true, right?

According to People Magazine’s January 2009 cover article, “They Lost Half Their Size,” Josie Raper of Phoenix, AZ, lost over 120 lbs. in just over a year by following Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet. Don’t believe me? Check out her weight loss success pictures on the People Magazine website!

Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet  has been helping people lose weight since he opened his doors in 1975. Since then Segal says he has helped over 500,000 in his medical with his special cookies. What makes them so special is the particular blend of amino acids that acts as a natural appetite suppressant. Apparently Dr. Siegal’s system does work, even Guy Ritchie, Madonna’s ex, lost some weight while eating the cookies.

The Cookie Diet is a restricted calorie diet, so you should see a medical profession before following the 3-step system. Dr. Siegal recommends 1,000-1,200 calories a day, which includes 6 90 calorie cookies each day. The cookies work to fill you up with oat and whole grains, and the amino acids help suppress your appetite. The theory is that while pretty much anyone will lose weight on a 1,200 calorie diet, most will be hungry throughout the day, and therefore eat more. The cookies help keep you on track by suppressing your hunger.

Dr. Siegal does recommend that you speak to your doctor before you being a restricted diet, including his. This is sound advice. If you do get the ok, then it’s best to begin the Cookie Diet with the 28-day Calorie Burn Rate Self-Test. Once you have completed this, there is an area on Dr. Siegal’s website to input your information, and get the proper amount of calories you should be consuming per day, and your ideal body weight. Once you have this information, you simply follow the restricted calorie diet, eating 6 cookies a day, until you reach your goal.

More than 500,000 people have lost weight Dr. Siegal’s Diet Cookies. Now it’s your turn!

I’m not sure about other low calorie cookies, but Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet really seems to work. They taste pretty good too, until like some other low calorie, healthy cookie alternatives.
