This version of the Buttery Icing recipe has a lovely lemon flavor. It’s perfect on Applesauce Cookies, Sugar Cookies, and many others.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 tbsp. soft butter
- 1 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
Instructions
- Blend butter and sugar together thoroughly.
- Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest.
Makes enough for approximately 4 dozen cookies
